Tim began his career in Financial Planning in 1993. His firm, Retirement Matters, is a Holistic (Comprehensive) Planning company with a focus on helping those age 55 and over prepare for and live a rich retirement.

You may recognize Tim as a Financial Educator and Media Commentator or from Proactive Advisor Magazine where he was recently featured in an interview.  Perhaps you were a listener to his popular Radio Program "Retirement Matters" that previously aired on 55WKRC and 1360 WSAI.  Tim has been leading Financial Education Classes in Cincinnati for over 20 years.  Hundreds of area families have benefited from Tim's teachings. 

Tim explains his work with retirees this way:

"We would all agree that the needs of a 65 year old are much different than the needs of a 35 year old - and the solutions and strategies need to be different as well. Yet in our industry that may not always be the case."

What is RetireWise360?

"We have developed and refined a Holistic Process we call RetireWise360 to help address the Comprehensive, Holistic needs of our clients.  One of the mistakes I see families make is that their plans aren't coordinated.  Sure they have an attorney that did their wills, a tax preparer, maybe a financial planner, and a 401k representative... but often those people have never met. So how can a family know these different planning pieces will work well together?  It is up to chance.  We coordinate all of this so families can focus on what matters in life." 

Tim has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business, Marketing, and Communications from Wright State University.  He holds the Accredited Investment Fiduciary Designation as well as several Securities and Insurance licenses. Tim is also a National Social Security Association Certificate Holder.

Timothy A. Wells has been awarded the Accredited Investment Fiduciary® (AIF®) designation from the Center for Fiduciary Studies™ (the Center), the standards-setting body for fi360.

The AIF designation signifies specialized knowledge of fiduciary responsibility and the ability to implement policies and procedures that meet a defined standard of care. The designation is the culmination of a rigorous training program, which includes a comprehensive, closed-book final examination under the supervision of a proctor, and agreement to abide by the Code of Ethics and Conduct Standards. On an ongoing basis, completion of continuing education and adherence to the Code of Ethics and Conduct Standards are required to maintain the AIF designation

 Timothy A. Wells has achieved National Social Security Advisor certificate from the National Social Security Association LLC in Cincinnati. The NSSA certificate promotes advanced Social Security education providing Tim with the knowledge to counsel clients on the best way to claim Social Security benefits in order to optimize lifetime Social Security income.

Diane began working in the Financial and Insurance industries in 2007. She has established an excellent rapport with our clients, and she ensures that any questions, requests and potential issues are handled promptly and efficiently. She also makes sure that all documents, account applications, and account service forms are properly and securely rendered in a timely manner. 

Diane graduated from Sacred Heart University with a Bachelor of Science degree double majoring in Business Administration and Marketing.

She and her husband reside in Loveland.  They have three adult daughters and three granddaughters. Diane loves traveling to new places, hiking National Parks, running and reading

Charlie Ehrenfried

Charlie began his career in financial planning in 2006 and has experience in sales, operations, and financial planning.  His greatest value is helping clients maximize their income in retirement while navigating the risks associated with it.  He brings a servant attitude and enjoys the research and continuing education required to stay on top of what’s going on in the financial planning industry.

Charlie has a Bachelor of Science degree in Business from Miami University.  He is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER ™ professional and holds several designations through the American College of Financial Services, including Chartered Life Underwriter ®, Chartered Financial Consultant ®, Retirement Income Certified Professional ® and Chartered Advisor in Senior Living®. He is also a Bucket Plan Certified Advisor and is the president of the Southwestern Ohio chapter of the American Financial Alliance (AFEA). 

Charlie resides in Monfort Heights with his wife, Kory, and 3 children, Libby, Maya, and Caleb.  They attend St. Ignatius of Loyola Parish and Crossroads Church.  In his very little free time, Charlie enjoys golf, camping, and skiing.  Prior to kids, he completed over 25 marathons and ultra-marathons, and 2 Ironman triathlons.

Diana Hooker prepares tax returns for our clients at a reduced fee.  Diana graduated from University of the Cumberland (then Cumberland College) with a Bachelor of Science in Business with an area of concentration in accounting. She is an accomplished accountant with over 20 years of experience in the financial field. Diana is also an event educator and speaker, presenting such programs as "Let's Talk Taxes."  As a John Maxwell Team Member Diana coaches individuals on Leadership and Personal Growth.

With her experience and background, she is able to offer a full service accounting solution including Bookkeeping, Accounts Receivables, Accounts Payable, Inventory Management, Sales and Use Tax Collection and Reporting for entire US, Financial Statements, Industry Metric Reporting, Job Costing, Full-Service Payroll, Corporate and Personal Income Tax Preparation for Federal, State and Locals and Intuit ProAdvisor.

Elizabeth (or Liz as she likes to be called) has worked in Financial Services since 2007. She has experience in trading, operations, and financial planning. Liz will work directly with Tim in preparing financial plans for our clients. She will also be involved in Client Services and our social media campaigns. Liz earned a Bachelor of Science Degree from Northern Kentucky University.

Kim joined the Medicare BackOffice team in 2018 and has stayed busy helping clients meet their insurance needs ever since. She is currently licensed in all 50 states and the District of Columbia. As part of the team at Medicare BackOffice, Kim understands that no two clients are identical and as a specialist in Mecicare insurance coverage, she knows how daunting it can be to learn about Medicare and all the options. That’s why she spends time getting to know her clients and helping them select the right plans from the fifteen plus insurance companies offered through Medicare BackOffice.

 Kim and her husband have been adjusting to life as empty nesters as her two incredible stepsons have moved out of the house and gone off to college. This gives the couple more time to enjoy taking road trips and tending to their landscaping. In their garden, they even grow their own hops for another one of the shared passions, home brewing.
